Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Supervisor in Texas

I am a licensed clinical social worker and supervisor (LCSW-S) with a strong background in medical social work, case management, and trauma-informed care. I earned my Master of Science in Social Work from The University of Texas at Austin, specializing in healthcare social work and integrated behavioral health. My experience in hospital settings has allowed me to collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and therapists, providing case management, emotional support, and advocacy for patients and families facing serious medical diagnoses. I have developed a deep understanding of how to navigate complex medical systems, coordinate care, and support individuals through major life transitions.

My clinical approach is centered on creating a calming, warm, and encouraging space where clients feel safe to explore their emotions and experiences. I integrate Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Narrative Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and psychoeducation to help clients develop emotional clarity and resilience. I also incorporate creative interventions, distress tolerance strategies, and customized tools tailored to each client’s unique needs. My work is deeply informed by culturally responsive, trauma-informed practices, particularly for BIPOC communities, individuals with disabilities, and those experiencing chronic stress. I am currently training in Trauma Conscious Yoga Method (certification expected April 2025) and will pursue EMDR training in May 2025 to expand my ability to support clients in holistic healing. My goal is to empower individuals to navigate life’s challenges with confidence, self-awareness, and meaningful growth.
